What started as religious rituals slowly became the literary theatre we know today. The myths turned into plays and have since never stopped developing in cultures in which they are written and performed. Theatre is entertainment that involves the performance of a play or the dramatization of events. We continue to be nourished by this universal art form with its immersive productions, musicals, dramas, comedies, and much more. In this episode, we meet actor Quincy Armorer who has worked in many Shakespearian plays as well as being the Artistic Director for Black Theatre Workshop. We talk with Alisa Palmer, Artistic Director of the English section and Director of the Acting and Directing Programs of National Theatre School of Canada. Finally, we have the pleasure of learning more about Centaur Theatre, one of Montréal’s most beloved theatre houses with its executive.

Anne is an ardent Montrealer, lover of the arts and well-travelled curious individual. Growing up in a vibrant cultural environment, she practiced dancing, drawing, and piano. Studying business at HEC, graduating with a BBA and MSc, she did a significant project on cultural nonprofits. Anne volunteers in various arts organizations including the YPC of the MMFA. To engage her creative side, she established a brand/blog (Jano Lapin) where she reveals her enthusiasm for the art world she frequents.
