"If you sit and meditate, you're travelling... you don't have to move." So says Tawhida Tanya Evanson, author of a new novel that follows a young woman from her home in Canada to the USA, the Caribbean, Europe, and deep into North Africa. But she travels as much inside herself as she does around the world. stephanie roberts' poems journey from "people believing badly," through city and country, ending up back at belief. This week's guests discuss journeys both physical and psychological, across space and time; they also consider the power of empathy, itself a kind of travel into another person's world.
