This week, join host Shelley Pomerance when two Montreal novelists talk about family, chosen and biological. “Friendships are the bedrock of a lot of gay and queer families”, says Christopher DiRaddo, “and I don't think that's always seen as legitimate as other forms of family, so I really wanted to showcase that in my book.” Friends also take on family roles in the new novel by Caribbean-Canadian novelist H. Nigel Thomas.
