Saison 1

3. S1 – Isolation and community

DISPONIBLE SUR LE WEB POUR :  8 semaines et 6 jours  8 sem. et 6 j

A new anthology of nonfiction brings the COVID-19 self-isolation experiences of 105 writers from all over Quebec into one powerful volume. In a new poetic children's book, a young Black girl races, alone, into a future where she can count on no one but herself. This week's guests discuss whether or not writers thrive in isolation, and the importance of community to any creative pursuit. They touch on the importance of tackling issues of inequality and discrimination which the pandemic has laid bare, and what might help forge a new path. "If we want to continue as a species on this planet, we will need to find other ways to co-exist," says poet and educator Stéphane Martelly.
