In the last decade, art fairs have been growing significantly all around the world, and the trend doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. To give you an example, Art Week in Miami (early December) includes over 20 international art fairs, more than 1,200 galleries and thousands of artists exhibiting at the same time! For art enthusiasts, it has become the fastest way to discover artists and purchase artworks. In Montréal, we have Papier which is the second-largest art fair in Canada (after Art Toronto) and growing every year. It has become an important part of the visual art scene in Montréal. In this first episode of the second season of Art Impact, we meet with Jean-François Belisle, Chief Curator & General Director of Musée d’art de Joliette, the renowned visual artist Éric Lamontagne and the General Director of AGAC
Invité(es) : Éric Lamontagne, Visual Artist Jean-François Bélisle, Executive Director and Chief Curator, Musée d’art de Joliette Julie Lacroix, General Director, Association des galeries d’art contemporain (AGAC)
