10. The promise and problems of the REM light-rail

Construction on the new REM light-rail system is well underway, and the network is supposed to open to the public next year. Many believe the trains will improve public transit, especially on the West Island and the South Shore. But critics have a list of problems, from how the project is being managed to a lack of consultation with those living along the lines. We talk with experts about the pros and cons of this massive project.

He is a singer, songwriter, and musician who has performed the anthems for the Expos and Alouettes. He's married with one son and two nutty dogs. He enjoys sports but hates going to the gym; he goes, but he hates it! He's got a blog and he tweets, too!
